Project Description

A collaboration between Kings Unlimited and Lake Wylie Studio, this fire coffee tabletop is a reclaimed oak beam discovered in a barn. The charred appearance of this slab is completely encapsulated in Superclear 2.0 Liquid Glass epoxy and polished smooth. The natural colors of the beam are still visible deep within fractures of the outer layer, giving a unique contrast to the black, white, and silver tones of the char. The top measures 28" long, 18.25" wide, 2.5" thick.
